Step 1:
Break or cut out all your pieces, we will be doing the main wings first. Bevel all lines first, then glue down the airfoil spacer for the wing and the control surface seen here.
Step 2: Inserting your servos. Make sure to line up a servo seen here in the center of that cut out. Dig out a space for it, and glue it in. Make sure your wires are leading out to the inside of the wing for main wing installation.
Step 3: Glue the wing over. Place glue in all beveled areas, on top of the spacers, and fold over and hold down wing. Then fuse the wing together seen here.
Step 4: Mount the Elevator to the back of the wing with packing tape.
Step 5: Assembling your fuselage. First take your belly pan plate and bevel the inside edges. Take the main fuselage and bevel all edges. This step is similar to our other MF builds. Then glue down the main fuselage piece. Once this piece is down, take the fuselage top plate and glue the battery box to the bottom of the plate facing the battery door on the belly pan piece. Proceed to glue the fuselage top plate to the main fuselage. Then glue the nose of the fuselage together by taping it first and filling in the lines with glue after to create a strong and nice looking nose. The next step would be to install the motor by inserting it in the back of the fuselage, using the MF motor mount. Make sure it is straight on all angles.
Step 6: Attaching the main wing to the fuselage. Make sure to drifit first, once it looks good, glue the main wing down onto the fuselage.
Step 7: Finishing up attaching the belly pan to the main wing. Glue up the sides first, then do the finishing touches of the front pieces.
Step 8: Finishing touches, place the stabilizers at your desired angle, completing the front nose cone, building the top canopy pieces. Also do not forget to mount your elevator servo in the back and run all the wires through the canopy piece section before gluing it all down.
Final Step, give it a good paint job and have fun flying! Don't forget to check your center of gravity, 17 inches from the front of the nose cone.
Thanks for all the support in watching our video and buying our kits. Altitude Hobbies almost sold out the first weekend they have been available. Huge thanks!
