DIY phone mount for Quanum FPV goggles

Hobbyking just released its new Quanum FPV Goggle Add On Kit, and it has a phone mount for Wi-Fi FPV or 2D VR. The phone mount can only be used with small phones, so I made one that can be used with large and small phones. It is a bit larger, but it costs a lot less then $25. There is only 6 parts and it uses very little foam board. You will need to make 4 of the rectangle spacers (part 1-2). Once all of the parts are cut out, place your phone in the middle of part 1-1 (the big piece of foam without the big rectangle whole in it). Place the spacers on the side and glue them on. Make sure the phone is tight so it doesn’t fall out.

After that is dry, add the other rectangle spacers on top of the ones used to hold the phone in place.

Then glue the last piece on top, and put Velcro on it. Also add Velcro to the FPV goggles. Don't put too much Velcro on it because when taking the phone mount off of the goggles, you can damage it if there is too much Velcro holding it down.

Then take the monitor out of the goggles, and put the phone mount on the front. The sleeve is too tight with it on, so it might help to stretch out the sleeve. The focus slider is only half showing with the sleeve on, so it might be easier to adjust the focus before you put the sleeve on. Also, it wll help to trim off the edges (if they stick out).
