MyGeekShow is going to Fly an RC Across the USA!

FliteTest Friends! 

 

For the last three years I have been working towards to goal of flying an RC airplane across the United States, all 4,200km/2,600mi of it, from the Pacific to the Atlantic. It is finally time to make the journey! I'm hoping (if I can gather the funding) to take off on June 16th, just a couple months away.

Good luck. Are your flights going to be using LiPOs or Li-ions? I notice you were not using li-ions in your last few videos

Thanks! I'll be using the Li-Ion cells. I've not been using them yet as they will be going on the Raptor 140C (I've been flying the Raptor 140B), as they require a different battery compartment and operate at a different voltage. I'm not quite finished with the 140C yet, but soon enough, we'll start seeing these packs in the air.

Yea, I've heard the Li-Ion's battery life is a lot longer and more efficient than the Lipo's life.

Oh my god what an amazing project. I've been lurking your channel and this website but you're pretty much the reason i made an account
I really wanted to say i hope you succeed with this. I'll spread the word even to people not in the hobby.
Again. Amazing project led by an amazing person. Sooo looking forward to this. I just found out that you had a website an kits up. If im going to buy a flying wing better buy it from a person who's been doing research on it for a couple years.

I'd like to know where and on what beach in Jacksonville you plan on landing at. I live in Florida, about four hours from Jacksonville, but I'd make the trip just to share my support and to see this epic journey come to a close.
