Jake's goal was to get the plane done prior to winter break as a Christmas gift for supporting the program over the past couple of years and allow it to grow now to the high school. Jake finished up some the design looks of the plane and it looks great. His build video will also come out this Friday just in time for break so you can build along with him and fly this bird over the winter vacation.
With Jake being sick, he made sure that the plane was in good hands for its debut, advanced pilot Nick took to the controls and did an amazing job displaying what this plane can do.
It was shown that it can handle inverted flight.
Looks scale too,
Talking points at the end, Nick loved the plane, and can't wait to start designing his plane next semester.

You have a great program there. No surprise that the results are so impressive.
I am the Director of Buildings and Grounds at Farrell Area School District in western PA. I am working with the physics teacher and trying to set up a similar program here. It has been a slow start. I am the only experienced designer, builder and flier and I had been away from it for over 15 years. I spent the summer getting my wings back.
I have been watching your stuff on FT and will try to emulate what you have done as much as possible with the limited experience and resources available. We will continue to watch the material you produce for ideas. You have certainly set the bar high.
Please pass on our congratulations to Jake on his great design and build. (I hope he is feeling better.)
Keep up the good work for the benefit of your students and those of us looking over your shoulder for inspiration.
Great job!

Not that it matters much. But it looks like you put a lot of work and effort into a great plane that many will enjoy! And with all the work you've put into it... It should probably be spelled correctly ;) I hope you don't take this post offensively, as I'm just trying to help.
