Thank you everyone for your patience with the FliteTest podcast!

As many of you know, we have been experimenting with an audio podcast in addition to our video episodes that we release on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am happy to announce that so far the podcast has been a tremendous success and you all have proven that this is a kind of content you are interested in as well.

So, if you have been listening to the podcast you know that we are excited to announce that the FT podcast is now going to be weekly! Up until now we have only been releasing every other Monday.

Our friend Chris Roncaglione is now going to be hosting the "off week" in a slightly different format. We have decided to call it "FT After Hours" where the goal is going to be to include you in the chatter around RC flight. Just like the main FliteTest podcast, the cast will always be a surprise!

The show will be developing based on what you want to hear! So be sure to let them know what you think here in the comments and on their Twitter @FTAfterHours.

I'm surprised they can even get one every two weeks, even if they did more, it wouldn't be enjoyable for them because they would just be doing it to do it, and they would run out of ideas rather quickly. Just my opinion

I have been into model aircraft since I was maybe 10 years old and pushing 50 now. Scale balsa models of homebuilt/experimental models are my favorites. You guys seem to be having a blast and I think would be a lot of fun to fly with. I am building a homebuilt aircraft now and the cast is fun to listen to while working on my plane. I like what your doing! You seem to grasp the bigger picture of getting young people interested in aviation and they may go on to do amazing things in that field as an adult. Great job!!!

Like the podcast format - even my children listen to it in the car to school in the morning (it´s like a english lesson for them :) ). I would like to have a series on how to boost local club and friends, to set up foam scrach building lessons for newbies, how to share knowledge to other, fun competitions, and most important how to inspire and share the fun! will listen to this podcast this noww

Very enjoyable! I love to hear other people's crash stories. Most of mine involve the strange phenomenom of foam boards powerful affinity to pine trees.

Good show! Much different than the main FT podcast, but I like the differences. I can get a little bit more of a technical side with the main one's, but these are a little more general conversation. I look forward to future After Hours Podcasts just as much as future FT podcasts!

Great podcast! Loved the stories, can't wait to here more! I loved how general it was, it was a very relaxed kind of podcast, though I like the main podcast too! I too would like it to have the detailed show notes that the main podcast does, there were a lot of things in it I would love to have seen linked, otherwise it was amazing

Meh, I think public radio has more structure. Nothing was ever really on a topic per se. If I wanted to listen to stories I'd go to my club meetings or flying field. Just my opinion but I really do not see much added value to the 3-Es of FT. No educating, No elevating, and mildly entertaining.

They asked to rate on podcast but since it's two shows on a single RSS feed that's probably not a good idea. Show was ok but I don't think I'd want to listen every other week.

For me, this has become a good podcast. When I was learning Slope Soaring in the 1980s about the first thing that I was taught was the need to trim gliders to be able to flat-spin, NOT spiral, in order to lose height when things are in danger of getting out of control. There seems to be surprisingly little said about this kind of thing. GLIDERS NEED TO BE ABLE TO SPIN. It was the first thing my teacher did after trimming my first glider, and he stood over me until I could do it for myself.
