Air To Air - Our Best FPV from 2015

by FliteTest | January 6, 2016 | (14) Posted in Just Fun

Needless to say, 2015 was amazing! We traveled all over the US and met some amazing people. Here is a montage of some of the best footage we had the pleasure of capturing over the last 365 days.

If you're curious to see where some of this footage came from, check out the list below for full episodes from last year.

Nice compilation. Would be great to have an episode discussing what equipment you use in terms of cameras/platforms as well as the video settings you have.

Awesome video. Reminding us of all the opportunities you get and the diversity of this hobby. Not just a compilation, but a video to commemorate arguably your most successful year yet.

Love it!

Hello everyone that loves to fly. I know this wasn't in the noob drone video and I'm not sure how to contact FT directly about it but, be advised in the United States, as of December 15 2015 you need to get on the FAA website and register for you own registration number that must be applied to every UAS (drone) you operate weighing between 250grams and 55lbs that is flown outdoors. if done before January 20 2016 the registration is free otherwise after that it's 5 bucks. You could be fined $27,xxx if you are caught not in compliance. If your UAS is over 55lbs it's a different reg process. Just to be informative. I want this hobby to progress easily for people. Good luck

Yes, that news is pretty well known to Flite Test and the community. For what it's worth, the AMA - and most of us are members - has advised us to hold off on registering for now, as things are still in flux, and there's a chance things may change.

Back to the topic, one of the many things that I enjoy about Flite Test videos is the great air-to-air footage, and it's consistently gotten better over time. Great work, guys, and thanks for the recap!
