How To Reverse a Servo Internally

To use a servo reverser or not. While the convenience of a servo reverser is quite appealing but there are some instances where space, weight or logistics don't allow from the easy of a reversing module. The attached video will step you through reversing one internally. I have shown this on a 9G servo but the principle applies to all sizes. Don't let the intimidation of opening up electronics detour you, it's quite a simple process. The basis is reversing the positive and signal line as well as the positive and neutral on the servo motor. Good Luck and hope this helps.

Solves a lot of programming head aches indeed :)

Also helps those whom want to add flaps to there model.

For example for the Multiplex Fun Cub Flaps ;-)

Hey guys, sorry to sound a noob, but what's the advantage of reversing it this way compared to reversing it via the Tx?

Hey Dodge, if you have two servos on two channels then reversing them with the radio is the way to go but if you have two servos on the same channel and need to reverse only one, then this or a servo reverser is the only choice. The reason, if you reverse it in the radio it will reverse both.
