We flew the new Walkera F210 quadcopter, an FPV mini racing quad with special ESCs that reverse the props so you can fly inverted (3D).
The F210 has a really nice carbon fiber frame and comes ready to fly out of the box, transmitter included. The board camera has infrared lighting that gives it night vision, and it runs off a common 4s 1300mAh battery.
This quad comes with standard two blade props, which don’t have as much power as the triblades that a lot of 210 pilots like to use, but make for a good beginner setup. However, these props are proprietary and it would be hard to put HQ or Gemfan props on the quad.
The F210 runs off of Cleanflight software, so it works well for entry-level pilots that want to easily adjust settings and it’s upgradeable for pilots who want more advanced pilot settings.
Alex and TJ (T-Bone FPV) both flew 3D for the first time using the special paddle props that came with the F210. The 3D props didn’t have as much power as the 2D, but the flying experience was pretty natural.
Overall, the Walkera F210 is a good entry-level quad that comes ready to fly with a transmitter for $360. You can learn more about it here: www.Walkera.com
