sWARm 2013 - Crashtesthobbies Full Contact Combat

This April I attended the anual spring sWARm put on by CrashTestHobbies.  I have a buddy that has made a habbit of going, and it just sounded like too much fun to miss out on.  I put together a short video, mostly shot from a DSLR camera and my 808 #16.  It was a good time, and I encourage anyone that hasn't looked at CrashTestHobby.com to go check it out.  They make nearly industructable airframes built for this type of flying. At the meet I purchased the Scythe and it is built to withstand a ton of abuse.

 

A huge mass launch, makes for utter chaos!

 Mid-airs happened often, but they weren't easy to catch with the camera.

GREAT! One more design/event added to the "planes/events I want to try" list. There are getting to be so many!

It's a great time, thanks for the comments. They will be having another event in september and I hope to have my FPV gear together to get some better footage this time.

Looks like fun. I have had a scythe for a while now. Love that little wing. I actually just ordered an AXN floater jet replacement motor ($9) from hobbyking to give it a little more kick :)
