Spitfire With Landing Gear - Free Plans

As Josh stated in the Mustang Video, "All Warbirds should have an option for gear."  (not exactly quoted)

So, I give you the FT-Spitfire with Gear option.  This plane performs so well, and I had so much fun with the Mustang doing landings, and touch and go's, that I had to put them on the Spitfire.

Here is the flight video in New Smyrna Beach.

Here are some pics of my build.

And, of course, the plans.

are you using a tail wheel?

no tail wheel, It just drags on the ground like the FT-mustang. But. it was interesting on the beach, because the rear of the spitfire fuse is open, so it collected the sand, and made it more tail heavy. It still flew fine, but I had to keep digging out the sand.

I am very sorry, It has been a long time since I built this plane. All I did was copy the FT-Mustang. All the dimensions should be the same as that build.

On your drawing, the support for the LG is shown on the wrong side of the spar.
Also can you tell me how long to cut the paint stick to fit? It needs about 1/8" space from the leading edge so the wing halves will maintain the correct airfoil.

I made some A4 plans right now. Heres the prompt I gave ChatGPT, Can you turn these plans into A4 size. They are currently A0. I want all of the part to have the same dimensions, but in sheets, so instead of 2 sheets of A0, more than 4 sheets of A4
Tiling
Then I added the link of the A0 plans
