To the FliteTest Community,
Danny over at Quadlugs was nice enough to send over his latest mini quadlug 250 product. Hands down one of the coolest and easiest quads he has. Using Quadlugs as our multirotor curriculum solution has been a great resource and tool for not only the instructor, but for the students. The students get a quick grasp of how a quad works in terms of construction, and design. We are used to the 350 to 550 size quadlugs, now with the mini 250, it changes everything. The mini 250 is even easier and cost effective when teaching the students. Plus the impact of a crash, besides Marshall's minor mishap of the motors breaking the zip ties off the mounts, is now the way to go. With technology becoming even smaller and more cost effective, this multirotor realm can easily fit into our STEM tool box of options to use and is highly engaging for the students.
This episode features ELITE student Danny Liebert reviewing the Quadlug product and seing what it is made of by racing out front in our newly claimed quadzone! It was a lot fun, even the crash, because it led Jake Sloat, an 8th grade MESArcFF student to design a new chassis for the 250, check out the plans down below. These plans are not just for Quadlug mini, however, can used for your setup if you are needing a simple quick solution.
We would like to thank Danny Choate over at Quadlugs for continuing to feed us with all of our multirotor needs. Please visit and check out what Quadlugs has to offer at the following link: http://quadlugs.com/
