My Homemade FT Spitfire, made out of correx, always love war birds, I decided to build my first plane , for my first build I do think it came out well.
Built using plans from www.flitetest.com with a few changes. This is my first plane build, and I do think it fly's well, Thanks to:- flitetest.com

Full marks to the pilot on a windy day! :) It looked a bit tail heavy in flight (really obvious at the 10-15 second point in the video) - maybe push the battery forward a little, or stick a big blob of bluetack in the front of the power pod, you'll find it makes a big difference both to the handling and its ability to punch through the wind. Great build though!

Thanks alibopo, I did use a small battery on this flight and did not check the CG so you may be right, I need to remember to check the CG on each flight, I have also change my prop to a 10x6 and she fly's even better now, I find the elevator a bit twitchy, need to work on that.

Couldn't see what transmitter you had, but when I first started out I had simple Hobby King one that only had signal reversing and no dual rates. All my throw adjustment had to be made on the servo and control horns. It was a bit of a pain so I got a DX6i when I started building more planes - that has throw adjustment on the transmitter. I'm getting the hang of it now but I can still panic and over-control if things get hairy - so I start with small throws on any new build. You looked like you were well in control in the clip, but I find it takes some of the pleasure out of the flying if the plane is too responsive.

GR8 Job Snoop 10 out of 10 with that high wind . As for your radio there is only one set for me now and that's the Fr-Sky Taranis at £130.00 ish it's stunning and my £400+ Evo 9 is now redundant (don't tell the Mrs) lol

Correx, huh? Very nice. I wondered about using coroplast, but thought weight might be an issue. Guess you proved it to be a good medium. Curious, what did you do with the edges, did you fill the holes, and also, your score cuts, how did you do your bevels? A build video on using this as opposed to depron or dollar-tree board would be very nice.
Great job. :-)

I too would like to know how you worked with it. Did you just do it just like the foam board and was it harder to work with?
You did a great job with it. Keep it going.
