KK2 Checklist Video Series

by mmerry2 | May 28, 2013 | (12) Posted in How To

This is a multi-video series where go through a checklist for setting up a HobbyKing KK2 on a multi-rotor.  I found that was a lot of information out there from the KK2 RCgroups thread, but it's not consolidated and takes a while to get through hundreds of pages of posts.  I wanted to put together a checklist that covers everything you need to do to get your multi-rotor ready with the KK2.

For you guys that aren't familiar with the KK2, it's one awesome controller board.  It's got gyros and accelerometers built in for stability control, a nice LCD screen you can use to setup all the options onboard and it supports firmware flashing so you get all the latest upgrades.

To get started, watch the Introduction video here

Videos in the Series:
Part 0:  Introduction
Part 1: Pre KK2 Setup
Part 2: KK2 Connections
Part 3: KK2 Testing
Part 4: KK2 Settings
Part 5: Initial Flight Test

Have fun flying with your KK2!

Mike

I cancelled my kk2 and got a multiwii pro, because it wasn't on backorder, but this was a great set of videos! They seem really helpful, and i'll try to apply similar procedures for my multiwii!

I haven't watched yet, but I've bookmarked the article so I can retrieve it later. I too have been able to find a lot of information scattered around. I applaud and appreciate your effort to consolidate the information. Kudos.
