How to put multiple voltage telemetry on TGY-i6
In this Article I show how to monitor the voltage of two batteries on a TGY-i6 receiver with two CVT-01 sensors and the TGY-iA6B receiver, as well as settings the alarm
At first time you must upgrade the firmware of the TGY-i6, I put the Fly plus Beta firmware that you can found on the web
After that if you put the CVT-01 sensor in serial you can only read the voltage value only for the first sensor
But the trick is to put the two CVT-01 sensors on a Y cord like that
And now in the sensors list on the transmitter you can see EXTV 2, it’s mean that you have two external voltage connected on the receiver
And now on the main screen you can see alternatively the value of the first and the second battery
The screen for the first battery
And the screen for the second battery
Now you can setup the voltage alarm of your battery, go into RX setup menu
And choose the level of your alarm with the type of your battery, Lipo and number of cells and the voltage for the high (Hi, no alarm), first level alarm (Al, slow beep) and finally the low level alarm (Lo, continuous high beep sound)
For the Lipo battery if you want a good live never down voltage under 3.7 V
Indeed on this receiver the serialization of the sensors does not work and the trick is to put a Y cord which gives an alternating display of the voltage of each battery and allows to set the alarms for the two batteries
And now if you want you can see the how to in this video
