We have some fun in the woods flying FPV with our multirotors! (At SEFF 2014)

Here is a collection of stills from the Let's Fly episode.

David is flying his Tri-Copter equipped with FT Rotor Bones - 'Simple Delrin Landing Gear'.

Josh and Alex fly with Immersion RC 600mW 5.8GHz transmitters.

Josh and Alex are flying BlackOut Mini H-Quads

Great video!

Loved the photography around the lake and through the woods. Best were the trips at right angles to the paths. Thrilling!

Reminded me of an old poem that goes something like: Two paths diverged in a yellow woods and I took the one least traveled by and that has made all the difference. Kinda applies here.

Keep up the great things you have been creating.

Do y'all ever use the Mobius camera only for FPV flying? SEFF is less than two hours from my home, I'll see y'all there next year!

Was David also using 5.8ghz? How did that work through the trees?

Genius… I find it crazy that those little quads can carry a GoPro, flight like lightening and still have decent flight times…. I think that immersion Quad racing will be the thing of the near future and you could really make up some great courses in forests and urban areas..
I'm just about to build one of the knuckle quads, good test bed to see how small you can go on a wooden frame….

Great video! I liked the style it was shot. (just casual flying)
Could you sometime show us the actual live feed you're getting from planes. HD video is nice but it makes it looks too easy ;)

I can see a new competition , set up floating pylon cones like Red Bull racing and flying a timed event thru the pylons using FPV , could be copters of electric aircraft. would make a great event .

Those let's fly episode are fun to watch, but not as great as your old challenges as with the turkey, the brick, the rocket plane, the flying toaster, the blender and so on...
