Thank you for a splendid podcast! Truly enjoyed this one! Wayne clearly understands where the really good bits in life are to be found. Really enjoy his insights. David has such a great ability to ask the questions that I am asking in my head, he really directs the conversation in a beneficial way, and he's just plain awesome. Chad is so great to have on the podcast, I always enjoy hearing what he has to say. Chris has so much energy and loves this stuff so much, just a lovely ferment of conversation happens when they're all there. I like the review of the little radian, it oddly works very well to review a plane on the podcast. My favorite podcasts were the first one, the Trappy one, the full scale one, and this one, and I think it has something to do with the interesting discussions that happened. Thanks again.

>>> I had to read it again, shame on me :$ Decided to post it :)

I was just watching the David episodes, I really didn't like the slapping part... It's like, you invite one of the world's most renowned FPV pilot just to get him to lose challenges where he doesn't have a chance and to get slapped in public?
SHAME
(a bet is no excuse... Josh Scott chose a milder bet on the 100mph challenge)

1st thing. Bomb drop contest. Josh gets to fly his FPV EPP, a stable looking, easy to fly plane. Dadde get's a scale warbird. Unfair. We all know dadde's best is tricopters and not planes... 2nd. Flying Low challenge. Again, I dislike the sick dog strap... Like, what am I watching, Jackass? And we all know that dadde would slap Josh B a thousand times in tricopter challenges!
Please FliteTest, please show him the respect he deserves for being such a skillful pilot... He is in a way, superior to all of you in FPV. Next time, treat him with the same respect that you show Mr. Mac Hodges, or Mr. James Hand...

I still like your show, but I did not like the road that these two episodes took. I hope that you keep this in mind for future episodes. Put RC planes to the test. Not good pilots to shame.

>>> Chad's response:
---------
Andre,

I appreciate your concern, but I think you need to become a little more informed before you get so upset. These challenges were _David's_ ideas. _He_ came up with the terms of the bet. Then _he_ legitimately lost those bets. David is a dear friend of ours and he stayed at my house and spent a lot of time with my family. We have not disrespected David in any way. As a matter of fact, he may be coming back over soon.

There is no shame in being humble.

Kind regards,
Chad

I'd like to add that Chad is an awesome guy. I just realized that only two weeks after I flamed him with this, the "Breaking Glass" episode was released! That was the episode that got me my first plane! :)

Mike from Australia here. too bad the internet connection was not the best. I still enjoyed the podcast though. Myself and friend Reuben love the show, videos and podcasts. We have built tricopters inspired by David and they are great fun. I just had my first FPV session which was awesome. Looking forward to connecting the tricopter up with it. Our friends are joining the hobby as well and its a great time with friends and family. Keep up the good work guys

I really enjoyed this podcast, it has to rank as one of my favourites. So many interesting snippets. By this point DW's boyish charm has won me over completely, I wish him and the FT crew every success for their plans for cross Atlantic cooperation. A five star podcast with headroom to spare.

Hi FT Crew, another great podcast! This comment is for Wayne: you mentioned using a cable to flash the UMX Radian board so that the AS3X stabilization can be switched from the transmitter. Please provide a link or add some information regarding the cable needed and procedure. I recently purchased a UMX Radian and I absolutely love it. Once the weather up here in Wisconsin warms up I'd like to maximize the thermals by switching off AS3X. Thanks, Mike

I had trouble with the link but if you to to horizonhobby.com and search for USB you should find it. I think the Spektrum manual for the AS6410NBL might be helpful, as well!

Hi FT Crew, thanks for creating these videos and podcast's because of them I have gotten into the hobby. I've purchase the nutball, FT flyer and the Detla from you. You guys make it look easy to fly. Because of this podcast I have also purchased a UMX Radian which is great to fly. I haven't tweaked any of the controls just a simple bind. As you guys fly these I configure your've got the tweaking down. I have a DX6i, can you recommand the tweaks to the controls you have found work best.

Again Thanks for what you do and keep it up.

Glen
