Polikarpov Po-2

First flight of the year - the plane is loaded up with a 2200mah battery and sent on its way.

My favourite plane just now, it is so smooth in the air.

If you have a spare GoPro, I like to attatch mine to the flat plate that usually comes with the camera. Then switch it to upside down mode and simply hold it under your radio Tx with your finger tips. Still no zoom though... Nice flying bipe!

I might try that with another camera I have, and thanks for the comment on the plane's performance, though I think 99% of that must go to the original designer Nikolai Polikarpov. It really is a sweet and well mannered flyer.

Nice video. I am looking for something better for a head mounted camera. What exactly did you use for this?

(though I've seen them as low as £7.00) As with everything just now, the tech is moving forward quite fast. There are now similar spectacle cameras with HD recording for a bit more, up around the £22.00 mark. The only drawback is no zoom, but at least you can film hands-free, and on your own. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at a bunch or these on eBay but did not find anything that will fit over my glasses. Unfortunately I am dependent on them. I am using my cell phone and clipping it to a mount I added to the brim of a baseball cap. I also could use zoom but it would be hard to keep in the shot. I just need to learn to fly closer when filming.
