Eradicating Vibration. Flying over my school.

by XFlyer | March 8, 2013 | (7) Posted in Projects

Just finished my flight from above my school. I am still working on vibration dampening so give me time. Links for ideas will be loved.

I used the same design as David Windestal's aka Rcexplorer. I used the kk2 board, dt700, turnigy plush and 2200mah 3s turnigy batteries.

I hope to get a GoPro in the future. Hope you enjoy it. Sorry about the bad video quality it was recorded with a potato.

Awesome video, it looks good for a potato, I'm jealous of all the space you have to fly in.

I had a quadcopter but they don't fly very good so I changed to a tricopter. I found that a tricopter is flows better in the air and can do circuites far better than a quad.

I agree with everything they say it's worth your time checking it out :)

Nice job! David has some good suggestions on eliminating vibration in his v2.5 build. One easy thing I have tried, is sandwich dense foam rubber about 1/2 inch thick between the full length of your battery mount and the body. Don't forget to balance props, and use props that require the "O" spacer, rather than drilling the holes for the motor shaft. I have come close, but not yet perfect.
