Blue Wonder VS Turnigy 2730

by ProjectFlightDesign | April 13, 2013 | (9) Posted in Reviews

Comparison of the famous Hextronik Blue Wonder 1300 kV and the Turnigy 2730 1300 kV brushless motors - which are both 24 gram motors with very similar construction. I want to know which one creates more thrust and which is the most efficient.

The turnigy is just another version of the hextronic. They are cosmetically different but spec out the same.

Very true. The Turnigy is a blue wonder clone. BUT, its more expensive, heavier to ship, and does not create more thrust - though it claims to have better magnets. These are just my findings with 2 motors on 2 runs each, which has not scientific statistical significance. But, I definitely be sticking with the original blue wonders.
