Hey guys,
I'm Matt and today im going to be taking a look at the 2216 810kv motors and see if they are the right motors for you.

PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST :)
Specs:
These motors are 810kv and can have an input voltage from 3-4s. When these motors are using the emax 10x4.5 props and a 4s battery produce a huge 950g of trust per motor!! The emaxs have a diameter of 28mm (27.9mm to be specific* and a length of 42mm. The cables coming out of the motor are 7cm long from the tip of the wire to the exit hole from the motor.
These motors come available in both clockwise and counter clockwise configuration to reduce the chance of losing a prop and crashing. They come with 2 emax 1045 propellers and an adapter so you can use 3 hole carbon propellers if you wish.
You will require 4 m3 screws per motor to mount these, which usually come in most qaudcopter kits, in this case the dji F450. You will also need to solder the bullet connections, i chose to use 3mm bullet connectors.
I was very surprised with the qaulity of these motors, they are very smooth in comparison to other motors which I have used and there are no jumps between magnets. This makes them ideal for FPV flying. They also have an impressive amount of power which I was quite surpised about due to the lower KV and not using a bigger prop to compensate for this. They are also very cheap and can be purchased on banggood.com for £14 each while in the UK they can be purchased for £15 which what i opted to do. Another thing which i really like about these motors is how quite they are, which i find nice as at indoor flying events people dont get annoyed with the noise, in which they do on the louder 250 size quadcopters.
Quality:
Moving onto the quality of these motors, from an aesthetics point of view they are gorgeous, the all black finish is applied very nicely, which makes them look much more expensive than they are. These motors are also incredibly smooth, which not only makes the quadcopter very quite but also means that vibrations are very kept to a minimum.
Value for money:
Value for money is the next topic on the agenda, in the UK these motors cost £15 from make it build it, and to get shipped from banggood in China. If you compare this to the t-motor 900kv equivalent which cost £33 each and for a cheapskate like me the emaxs fall into the perfect balance between price and quality. These are also better quality than multistar motors.
As I have had accounts from people I know saying they have got them out of the box broken, but with the emaxx motors I would not have any worrys.
I would have no hesitations in recommending these motors, so if you want a low cost motor and brillaint performance then these may be some motors to consider.
Conclusions:
quality: 8/10
value for money: 8/10
relaibility: 10/10
durability: 7/10 (i had a collision with a blackout, one of the motors stiffened up, but a quick wack with some pliers sorted this issue)
Thanks for watching and reading this article.
I am new to content creation so any feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks again, Matt from MattsRCreviews
love it when people don' tjust buy the most expensive/cheapest stuff but have an eye for price and value balance.
