Finally the moment of truth is here, and I got ready for maiden all of a sudden.

I simply could not wait anymore, and went for a launch at sunset.

We are located in Norway.
Icelandic people, are Norwegians that dont drink beer :-) Not kidding....!

The old law, said that for christmas it must be brewed a strong beer - using the landlord and his wifes weight in malted barly. Who did not do this, was taken their farm in favor of the goverment. The ones whoo where Cristian - often chose to migrate to Iceland, after selling the farm. As obvious, I would not be here unless my great grandfathers where all drunk :-)

Great maiden, sorry you had issues with the HK motor. Hopefully you switch to something that is better for your FPV use. Can't wait to see the FPV video soon!

With tis engine I have had a number of issues. And I should emphasise, that the possibillity of me having all "monday" engines from a bad lot is ofcause possible. Others will tell other stories. However it is a fact from others that the shafts snaps easyly.

I have now canged the ballbearings with some SKF's and the sound seems dissapeared. PS !!! It is not the squeeky sound you hear on the first throttle up I refer to, that is wrong timing of the ESC. That is fixed. The ballbearing sound you can hear @4.27 in the vid. but weak.

But the stability of Sleipnir is amazing.....

Which UHF system is that? Dragon?

The UHF is Dragonlink, and the timing problem in the start is not a part of my critics of this engine.
