I've been enjoying the R/C hobby since I was 7 years old when I discovered my older brother's broken Great Planes PT-40 in my parent's basement. I tried to resurrect the aircraft but wound up crashing it again. Since that crash I was hooked from the excitement of watching my efforts soar. I've never stopped being part of the hobby since then. Now 17 years, hundreds of projects, and one Aerospace Engineering degree later I fully understand, on an overly detailed level, what it takes to get a plane to fly.
