Wilmracer's 95" P-40 @FF15

I got the chance to spend some time with our very own Wilmracer at FF15. Getting to see his P-40 in person was a highlight for me and I wanted to share a quick video with you guys.

This thing is 95" of amazing detail work.

 

Right down to a pilot that's in his own likeness!

 

The finish work and little details blew me away.

 

Rivets, panel lines, decal work, this thing has it all!

I was ferrying people back from the church parking lot when some guy with a Jeep towing a trailer pulled up. I offered him a ride and he accepted, saying he needed to get some stuff together. (Something about what I just wrote is reminding me of a Heart song which is a bit weird). Anyway, I saw the tail of a P-40 in the trailer and immediately knew who he was. That plane is AMAZING! Carl wins the Flite Test forums for best scratch build ever!

I love it. I think that I would like to have one but it would take me way too long to make. Would love to see it fly.
