Things i lost in the fire...

by x3mperformance | January 16, 2015 | (5) Posted in Tips

I will just make a short statement.
Take good care of your stuff, make sure you got insurance
And enjoy your life and the pleasure that RC flying is providing.
I have made a bunch of stuff, learned all about the gret hobby just the hard way.
Now i lost everythingm,, except my experience, to a fire two nights ago...
This stuff is real, i lost everything, and i mean everything that night.
I am just lucky, that the house was empty, and the cause was claimed to a heating panel, not to anything from my RC stuff...
And i also discovered that my bank didn't pay my insurance...
Guess, i'm back to a blank page in life.
There will be a short periode where i can't post anything usefull for you, not even beeing able to do some flying.
But i will return.
Keep smiling, even when life kicks your butt.
Nobody was injured, due to the fire.

 My house this morníng...

Police is investigating

This was my livingroom....
Everything looks like this.
Nothing survived the blase, not even as much as a teespoon was able to get a second chance...

What i own now.
Close that fit a sportsbag, for 1 1/2 week.
An electric shaver
My laptop
My car
And 2 GoPro3 with  ecuipment.
That's seriously all i have left.

Damn dude. Im sorry for you. I cant imagine how horrible that must be. You look like you have a pretty positive attitude about it, so that'll help you. Good luck getting back on your feet.

I know this article is not asking for anything but did you lost anything that cause you not being able to fly? Can we contribute something to at least get you flying? What you fly? fix wing? multi rotors?

I just went through this about and month and a half ago... I feel your pain on this all the way bud. You definitely have the right attitude, just keep your head up and look forward to getting life back together. After all ive been through so far (I'm still dealing with insurance company's) with the fire I have a totally new outlook on the challenges that one has to go through with an event such as this. I still have not been able to give my family a Christmas.. I have found a place to live but its very temporary.. Searching for a place to live 2 weeks before Christmas is VERY difficult...

Keep your head up bud, this will all work out... All you can do is move forward.

God Bless

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Make sure you do your best to get the insurance to cover it. If the bank didn't pay it, then it's the banks fault. Don't feel like you have to deal with that battle yourself, talk to a lawyer. This isn't exactly the same thing, but I had a friend that totaled a car, insurance covered it, he got a brand new car and then got into a small(ish) accident with the new car. The insurance company made a mistake and kept the totaled car on the insurance and never insured the new car. They refused to pay him anything even though it was the insurance company's fault. He didn't get a lawyer and was in debt because of the financial loss. He certainly had a case but he waited to long to get into it with a lawyer. Seriously, talk to a lawyer. It won't hurt!

You have to take it like crashing an airplane. It feels really bad for the moment, but you know you will be back up in the air.

If your bank was tasked with paying your insurance bill and paid even once then failed to complete the task you have a very good basis for a law suit.

Hope you get a new house that is the best for you, and get to start doing what you love most. I feel bad for you, but think of it as a new slate to begin from, a new beginning!

Dude that sucks. Glad no one was hurt though. Material stuff can be replaced, but not life.

Prayin for ya buddy. The fire didn't take your experiences, your knowledge, your spirit or your life or the lives of those you love. Glad it wasn't your RC stuff that caused the fire as that would hang on your conscience. Love to hear about the next chapter of your life!

OMG I'm so sorry! You're in my prayers! Never lost my house to a fire, but was devastated like that once in my life. All I had was some cloths, and my car. Trust in God and the drive to rebuild will pull you through! Thank goodness only property was lost.

The funny thing about life is that in a few years from now and you look back at this event, it will make your life a lot more "richer" in so many ways. I have found that when I have had a HUGE trajedy in my life unfold life for a period becomes insanely difficult, but due that pain(emotional/physical) you do whatever you have to get away from it and during that process you build/earn/forge character and you understand yourself a little more. It also puts life into perspective, when you fight to get back to normal life, these events make you appreciate the times in life when it's filled with happiness, you no longer take that for granted with how fleeting it can be and how fast sh&t can hit the fan.

I am glad everyone is safe, and I truly do wish you the very best in this awful time.
