The VentiQuad

In the struggle to find a good FPV platform. That can easily be build out off local material, when regarding the frame. Also want the electronics inside, and the possibility to dismantle for easy transport. I thought I was there, it was close but not really there.
I here present the H-Quad made out off plastic ventilation pipe, and aluminium.

The body is made out off a rectangle ventilation pipe, 55x110mm. With end caps, that can easily be removed, for placing battery, or dismantling the arms. Inside the ventilation pipe is the ESC.

The arms and landing legs, are bolted with 4mm bolts, with wing nut. I also have a U-bar over the square arms for a good solid connection.

As you can see the battery fits perfect inside the end cap.

Here are the arms dismantled.

The receiver and the flight controller is in the box at top. And plenty off room for FPV and camera gear on top.My first version this box was inset into the ventilation pipe. But in my struggle to try to fit the arms and the motor inside the pipe, I mounted it on the outside. But this didn't do the job. So almost every thing is perfect. I flies nice. But I wish I could get the arms inside during transportation. Then it would be perfect. But You can have it all.:-)

You could rubber band the arms to the body.

Thank you for your input. Yes I think that is the way to go. But in my dreams everything should be protected inside. But you can't have it all. :-)

If the arms were rubber banded to the body all you would need is a handle and it would be perfect! You could easily carry it wherever and then deploy it quickly.

Thank you for your input. Yes it don't take long to assemble. I have to try to think out a combination where the rubber band and handle is one system.
