Ramier and Walter Horten designed and flew their Nurflugels (only-wing) Gliders as teenagers in Germany before WWII. During the war they developed the jet powered Ho-229 for the Luftwaffe and were also working on a long-range Bomber version when the war ended.
Here I take my "Five Easy Piece" Methodology and apply it along with Kline-Fogleman (KFm4) wings and Ventral Vertical Stabilizers (VVS) to create an Dynamic, Reliable, and Accessible Horten Flying Wing.
I use Dow and or Owens Corning FFF to make my planes. However DT or what I call "Foam-Core" board form Hobby Lobby, Micheals, Walmart, or Dollar-Tree would work too.
Hope you will enjoy the "Five Easy Piece" version of the Horten 229 as much as I have.
The B-2 Spirit Bomber shares many of the same charateristics of the Ho-229 so I include it's build notes too.
Either one would make an excellent FPV platform as well.
The "Five EASY Piece" Horten 229, B-2 and PAK DA PDF plans are free and the links are found in the build video.
