A classic warbird from the axis!
A model from the Axis side of the war! Durafly created a model of the BF-109E-4, these flew during the Battle for Britain. The question is, will it fly at your airfield. Before we had to the airfield. How good is the aircraft?

The plane comes in two different schemes. Both desert camo and the yellow nose. It is fantastic seeing a company produce the desert camo version of this plane. It is harder to find a model with that scheme.
Durafly did an excellent job in packages the plane. The foam packaging is model well around the parts and has soft foam blankets keep parts from rubbing each other. The aircraft arrived undamaged. The coming out and getting ready to be assembled gorgeous. Durafuly's team took their time getting the detail correct on this plane. However, something was missing. The manual was not included, we guess it is expected to be downloaded from their website.
After getting the plane put together, which was a simple process. We begin to grasp the details of the aircraft. The plane lines are well done, several options for decals and small features add a really nice touch to this plane. The mechanized bomb drop will be surprising to use at the airfield! Overall, this plane is fantastic and only thing stopping the build process and quality from being 10/10 is missing the manual from the box.
The maiden didn't go as well. The big issue with BF-109 is the landing gear! The landing with being a short wheelbase which makes it squirrel on the ground.
