I have designed and built many quadcopters. The biggest problem that comes with all platforms is recording stable footage. I'm not talking about removing Jello. You need to balance your props for that. ALTHOUGH an easy solution to reduced Jello is to use SMALLER Props. 5, 6 and even 7 inch props paired with a higher Kv motor reduces a bunch of Jello. I fly a Squeech V3 which is a 280 sized quad made and sold by me for $65 bucks. I'm about to release V4 soon.
I know there are gimbals attached to things like the Phantom and stuff. But those are expensive and hurt your heart when you crash. They are also big and bulky. Even if you do fly one of these types of platforms you still may find this software useful.
I designed the Squeech as an all purpose platform. Racing, freestyle it can even be used to film content like real estate. Sometimes when flying at slower speed I get a few bumps and wobbles. Well this software takes those out! It also removes the fisheye from the GoPro.
Here is a sample of the edited footage that I shot with my Squeech V3 recently.
Pretty smooth considering it's shot without a gimbal.
And here is some footage that shows the bumps and wobbles I am talking about. I even had a chipped prop in this which produced some jello.
The company that sells this software is called ProDRENALIN.com. The software can be downloaded and demo'd for free. https://www.prodrenalin.com/prodrenalin/ Although you can only export using the free version in the compare side by side mode.
The software is 20% off for the rest of the summer but is normally only $50.00. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Go get it and try it out!
Here are some other ways to fly the Squeech!
