Decided to upgrade the Gimbal on my SkyHunter. The Feiyu-tech gimbal I was using before had an unpredictable roll that sometimes counted for unusable footage. The Feiyu-tech mounted:
Had some successful Flights with The Feiyutech gimbal, but just not dependable. Here is one flight we walked away with good gootage using the Feiyu-tech gimbal:
Sometimes the roll drift worked to our advantage making the banks look more authentic. Othertimes, the drift wondered into the pitch axis and we just couldn't use much of the footage. Firmware wasn't moving along well enough so we decided to switch gears to another Gimabl.
I ran across a thread where Chicken Shashimi (thanks Shashimi) inverted the Tarot Gimbal on his quad and after going back and forth, he gave me some pointers on how he mounted it and said speed didn't bother the Tarot much, so we then decided to give the Tarot 2-axis Gimbal a test. We inverted the sensor on the Tarot and after some trial and error, we dialed it in.
