Rotor Bones Bomb Drop

Installing a small but easy bomb/parachute drop on the Rotor Bones Anycopter hub

Small cheap 9 gram servo from my box of parts that is hot glued to the front of the hub and hooked up an extra chanel on your reciever.

rubber band on opposite side of the servo that is zip tied to a hole on the frame for an anchor point(make sure the hole is in the center because there is two and one is slightly to one side)

to load pull rubberband under the frame and over the battery and place the band on top of the servo arm(simply flip the switch on your transmitter that will move the servo to position and the rubberband will slip off be careful to always put the servo back in the origional position bacause the arm will push againt the hub and could burn out your servo and ruin it)

yeah it works well but every once in a while the string on the parachute gets stuck on the Velcro for the battery holder, I'll post a video as soon as possible I'm waiting on motors they are stuck in customs:(

This is awesome! I don't have an anycopter frame but this will work just fine on the one I do have,

that's great! yeah it should be easy and fun but it would be great if you found a way to hold the rubber band on the servo arm better because over time it starts to slide a bit.
