Rc airboat depron scratchbuild

Hi there,

was quite inspired by mattplaneflyers article on the airboat (http://flitetest.com/articles/rc-airboat). Since it is not the best weather here in germany to go flying, I decided to build an airboat of my own. Even without a plan this thing was quite easy to build and it is really fun!!!

I Used 6mm&9mm depron, a 9g servo, tape, hot glue, 3s 2200 Lipo, a 30A Bec and a brushless motor (E-Max 2212/25) I had lying around in my workshop.

it makes sense to add a little weight to the nose or a front spoiler btw. at higher speed the boat tends to lift of and "loop" ...

Great it looms very nice you should make a snow jump and make your rc airboat jump off!

Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

sry have no plans usually I just start building and see what comes out of it... I'd love to give you some measurements if the boat would still exist. the basic ground area was about 30x40cm I guess.
