Hi from Blighty - Can I first say that I love the show, what you guys do and the time you put in to it all. You are amazing! However, this episode really needs to be recalled as it's impossible to listen to; Chris's voice is so loud it's on the point of distorting and the others are so quiet they are in audible.

I love listening to you guys going on about the hobby, it's infectious. Keep it up... just improve you're production levels a bit.

Thanks for it all!

Hey guys sorry for the audio quality. I actually lost this podcast half way through recording. When I finally recovered it the audio was really messed up. I spent a couple hours on it trying to fix the levels. I did the best I could and actually did listen to it with head phones. I know it wasn't great but thought it was listenable. Chris

Guys, I Love your pod casts, especially the crash stories. I also like hearing what Wayne and Mike are up to. However in this Podcast it was really hard to hear Wayne and Mike. I could hear Chris just fine, but cranked the volume up so much when Mike or Wayne were talking, that as soon as Chris spoke it hurt!! Please see what you can do to balance or level out the audio levels. Thanks for all you do, and keep up the good work.

It's called the Dromida Ominus. The promotional video of it on Amazon is a 10 year old's dream. They do look pretty tough though. Kind of like a larger sized Nano Qx, so I guess like a Micro Qx (Trademark pending by Horizon I'm sure)

New club member mentioned he had lost his 350qx in thick woods near my house. I know this woods well and walked right up to it, sadly after two months the GOPRO was milky and the motors where muddy and frozen. Returned it or what was left of it.

Guys I normally love your podcasts but this one was just terrible. The production quality has really slipped. Do you guys actually listen to this before you post it?
The sound was horrible.
I'd suggest you podcast with headphones on.

They do wear headphones while they are recording. I imagine something happened to Wayne's audio half way through.... And more than likely they knew but decided to go ahead and post it anyways rather than scrap the whole thing...

I'll second that, in the beginning it was very difficult/painful to listen to.

I just listened to this podcast and number 53 right after. If the quality of these 2 episodes is an example of future episode, I suggest you just stop making podcasts.

This podcast was nearly impossible to listen to. First you start with a story you told in the last episode "for the people that missed it". Seriously? People that missed it should just go and download that episode. And if the phone call quality was any good, maybe it would be interesting, but now you can't even understand the guy half of the time.

Then half way through the episode wayne's mic breaks? Does anyone even listen to the recording before posting it here? At this point I switched to episode 53.

Aha, flight control boards, an interesting topic as I've been doing some research on this myself. What a letdown... The first 5 minutes of the podcast is you guys talking all at the same time, messing about, phones ringing, etc. Just like every podcast lately, it has no beginning, no intro, almost like you're sitting at a table and hitting the 'record' button at a random moment. After that you barely scratch the surface of flight control boards. Josh says something about the naza, Peter mentions the Vector and that's basically it. And oh yes, Josh also mentions the naze32, but that quickly turns into a marketing speech about the tough tilt.

I used to look forward to and enjoy listening to these podcasts, but these days it's just a bunch of guys sitting at a table without a plan. "We'll have a free hour tomorrow" is mentioned in one of the episodes... and judging by the quality of the latest podcasts I'm afraid this is the way you actually do this, but it shows in quality. Have a plan, research the subject you are going to discuss. For example naze clone boards were not even mentioned here. Explain the differences and nuances of each board. Discuss baseflight vs cleanflight, etc. With proper research you could even do a separate podcast for each control board and it would still be interesting, but at this moment you just don't have the content to fill an episode. People (or at least me) listen to your podcast to learn a few things, not to listen to you guys messing around and filling the time slot you set out to. Also, voicemails are fun and all, but they shouldn't be a substitute for content.

And I don't know why, but lately even the video episodes have gotten less interesting. Seems like way too much time is going into the marketing of your own products. Which I can completely understand since that is a mayor source of income for you guys, but the videos are getting too 'marketing' like. It used to be challenges and fun stuff, these days it seems like you just film yourselves while flying. Not nearly as entertaining as it used to be.

Don't get me wrong, I still watch the show and listen to the podcasts. I just wish it was more like it used to be. I'm losing interest in this, but I don't want to be.

I suggest you download an episode of the "stuff you should know" podcast. Tons of information and brought in a professional manner. I wish flitetest was just a tad more like that. Quality is going downhill fast.

Could anyone of the flitetest crew that actually read this leave a reaction to this. Even if it's just 'I read this'. I have a feeling no one actually reads the feedback given by the community.
