This is my first build video on my channel, and it's about teh QAV-500 FPV Quad made by fpvManuals.
I hope you like it!
I built another one for a friend, here are some pictures:
Here are all the components which come out of the bow, and which i will be using to build it
First we're gonna mount the arms to the bottom dirty frame with the PCB, and use locktide!
You have to mount four screw per arm, with the included tool
I only used locktide on the bottom screws, because of repairs.
Now you're gonny mount the short aluminium spacers, which are about the same thickness as the arms
When all the spacers are screwed in place (with locktide!!), you can solder on the ESC's but i'll do the electronics later. You can now put the dirty part away, and take the carbon fiber landing gear out if you choose to
Put the little screws in before you put it on
And the mount it on the arm, and insert the carbon fiber tube. Do not overtighten the screws, otherwise the carbon will break
When you have mounted the landing gear, you can put the dirty frame away, get the clean frame, the long spacers and some locktide
Screw all the spacers in, except the ones in the middle of the frame, so 2 should be left over
This is how it should look with all the long spacers screwed on
Now take 4 of these orange vibration absorbers, also called RC Bobbins
Screw the bobbins on by hand, do not overtighten it, otherwise the rubber will twist and send vibrations through the frame
If they break off, use some CA glue to put it back on
This is all the work you can do without any electronics
These are all the elctronics i used for the quad without FPV
