Known for his audacious exploits in the world of DIY aviation, Peter is up to his old tricks.
When you think of the holiday season, you may think of Christmas cheer, gifts, and goodwill. What you probably don’t immediately think of is a giant flying drone sleigh. Who needs reindeers when you have Peter Sripol equipped with six agricultural drone motors? Here's a preview (below) taken from Peter's Instagram.

The Challenge
Not satisfied with creating fully electric microlights and hydrogen-powered nerf blasters, our friend Peter has decided to take electric flying machines to the next level, with style. The challenge is to build a person-carrying multirotor, and it’s looking promising.
There’s a welded metal frame complete with skids.
To hold the motors, long sections of aluminum square tubing have been attached. Brackets and motor mounts have been made by machining wood and more aluminum.
The whole assembly is rather on the large side, yet it can still be lightweight enough to be balanced.
The Motors
With this type of project, it’s not a simple case of strapping a massive drone to the top of a sleigh. Instead, several extremely powerful drone motors need to be used. These ones are Sunny Sky motors.
These are the specific motors that Peter is using. They are 100KV and spin props of 30-36 inches.
Each one is capable of producing over 21kg of thrust. With six of them, the aircraft should have around 126kg of thrust - now that’s a serious sled.
This is just the first part of Peter’s latest flying machine project. To stay up to date, you can subscribe to his awesome YouTube channel and follow him on Instagram.
