Naze32 Acro | Multiboot controller - CC3D
"Same hardware as CC3D(MPU6050, STM32 processor, etc.). Also has a multiwii based firmware "baseflight" that takes advantage of the 32-bit cpu. the rest of the multiwii boards are stuck on 8-bit atmel cpus"
It's the Acro Naze32. http://abusemark.com/store/index.php...products_id=38
I have 2 of the Naze boards now. The white .4 and the pink .5. The board is about 1/3 smaller than the standard FC. You can use most Multiwii GUI's, But the one on Google Chrome Apps, Base Flight is made for it. Easy to update, slight learning curve. But every setting can be ajusted thru the CLI.
I started on this multicopter advinture, 2 years ago with the KK Black board, as a Noob it was hard to setup right. After many crashes, and countless broken props, bent, and broken arms. Then I found the KK 2, now I was actually learning to fly a little?? Getting my orientation down. Is it flying away or toward me?? Crashing less. Attempting some rolls and flips, never fully committing to the maneuver and chickening out mid flip. Then crashing.
I saw this Thread on FPVLAB Naze32 Acro | Multiboot controller - CC3D compatible FC for $25 . After reading a bit. I said why not? Tired of waiting for the KK2 to be in stock at HK.
This board lets me fly better than, I have ever been able to in the past. I have Carbon Quad from HK, and a cloned BatBone Tri from Flite Test. (I did buy the landing gear/motor mounts and the yaw mech from Flite Test) Both with a Naze board.
Big rolls, filps forward/backward, forward barrel rolls. Full right rudder with full right roll and the quad just rolls on that axis. Semi flat spins. If you get into trouble/disorientated just let go of the sticks, no worries.
Here's a short video with a on board camera, it acully looks better from the ground.
