Well she made it in the air! flys beautifully exept for a bearing going out on a motor...did have a fun time trying to keep it from catching fire

Howdy,

Well this was inspired by the ft Versa. It is built in a very

similer way. it is made of 4 sheets of foam board and has

a 60in wing span. hope you enjoy!

i started by giving it a 20 degree angle for the leading edge

same building style as the versa

the versa wing on top of it

it is powered with two 1000kv motors useing the ft

elements motor mounts.

it has counter rotating 10 4.7 props

 it can have 9 7 props or 10 4.7

it has two 30amp esc's and each motors runs off a three cell lipo 1800 mah

 neering completetion

thanks for looking!

I am still going to build standard FT Versa but this 60" of yours looks great. I would like to build one of that size too. I'll bet that it will carry some serious FPV gear! Good job!

thanks, although I did go a little over board with my two motors. it could hover at just a little over 1/4 throttle

Well I've been having issues with the twin setup. one motor keeps burning up. im not over propping the motor or anything. I cant figure out whats wrong. the wing its self flys great. but im designing a new wing for just a single motor. its gonna be about a 55in wing

You could make it have a tractor motor on the front and a pusher on the back.
