I was searching the Internet for instructions on how to connect my trusty APM tom my newly shopped MinimOSD 1,1.
Pages after pages and Youtube got trawled, countless times, might be my aquardward way to search, but i had no sucess.
Unless i actually wanted to connect it to a DJI NAZA or any other controller, than what i needed to...
Even the Minim OSD page and wiki did me no good, a very weak description on which wire goes where.
I then got a very simple idea.
I have a 3DR telemetry kit for this, and it connects to the same port on the APM module... Might work out, found it, looked it through, and acted.
I connected the cable from my telemetry kit, and voila... A working MinimOSD.
How hard could that be to write on the wiki page...?
And why not state and sell a spare cable with the MinimOSD...?
But heres a guide to the complete setup, the easy way, to a GoPro Hero3 or 3+ kit with external power for the camera too...
Mind that the cam only runs at 5 volts, 12 and you will need a new one.
Take the cable loom from the 3DR telemetry kit.
Plug it directly on the MinimOSD
It plugs into the Telemetry port.
And the blank/empty pin goes in this direction.(Top.)
Here a complete overview of the entire system. (I use a FatShark 5,8G system VTX with RH Polarized Spironet.)
The yellow wire are the videosignal, Brown the ground/negative and red the plus/hot wire.
The left goes to the camera, the right goes to the VTX
Here are the camera part. White wire to yellow, black to brown, and red to.. ahh, you get it. ;-)
Same goes for the cable loom to the VTX.
Hope this has cleared some confused heads.

I had a real hard time trying to find it...
And yes, i could find out how to hack it into Naza's and all other brands, than what i actually needed my self.
And when i finally discovered how easy it was, i thought, How on earth can it be so hard to share this to everyone...
But thanks for the comment.

It might be cause of the srx_ parameter. In Mission planner, (update it if you haven't) there is an option under Hardware/Optional hardware/OSD, to "enable telemetry". That fixed it for me. If that doesen't work, you can manually check that the parameters match, what that button would set it to, by comparing with this picture of values http://tinyurl.com/o3vlvor
