With the MESArcFF program now entering its 5th year of existence, we are now acknowledging our first graduates from high school and seeing whether or not the program is doing what it is intended to do, produce engineers! We had two students that year, both are going to school to become engineers, one mechanical and the other aeronautical. This episode features Scott Bragg, 2010 MESArcFF Top Ace coming full circle. As a senior, Scott has his own glider license and is planning to attend Embry Riddle college to become an Aeronautical Engineer. He invited Marshall out this past weekend to give him his first glider flight experience. It was an amazing opportunity to fly and to see Scott teaching the teacher. The whole MESArcFF program is very proud of Scott Bragg and his accomplishments.

Scott scene here doing his pre-flight checks.
Pulling the glider to position. It is as simple as taking the plane out of the hangar and walking it to the runway.
Cool pic of the tow plane, looked just like Dusty Crophopper!
Shot of the rockies and the tow plane right before release. Just pull the lever and become a glider!
All fun and smiles, very proud!
Scott Bragg will be attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University next Fall. Seeing the first MESArcFF student come full circle is an amazing accomplishment by both parties.
I am a Mentor for a FIRST Robotics team here in Elk Grove, Ca. I know first hand what it is like to see your students go off a pursue the dream. I now have students at Embry Riddle in Fl., UCLA, UC Berkeley etc. It's a humbling experience, and one that brings great satisfaction at the same time.
Keep up the good work!!
