MAC (odd twin) project

I was going to model this plane after the FT cruiser but I got suspicious of my two escs ( they appeared to be calibrated diffrently) anyway this was the result. I designed this to avoid adverse yaw. With a wingspan of 46in and a length of 33in its big and also heavy (in part due to my use of the heavy foam board).

I used two 80wat 1200kv motors swinging 8x6 (3 blade) props and 20amp escs. I ran two 1300 3-cells and used 9 gram servos all around. Now to the flying, I had exected to spike this thing and use the servos in my other projects to my surpise it climbed out smoothly  and tracked true It was responsive and stable simply a good rather quick bank and yank plane. I also found (in later flights) that it cuts into a 13mph breeze without any fuss. I will go in-depth on this project in my next articales (eventually a flight vidieo and build plans)

here are some pics I will add a better video when I can make one

Same Config as a Cessna Skymaster, with some fancy foam work, could become one.
Great Project

Nice - I'm fascinated by your booms - are they a plastic extrusion or foam board?

Thanks for that - they were so neat they looked an awful lot like plastic sections I've seen in DIY shops. For holding shower glass I think??? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the flight video. Cheers, alibopo.

Good job on that. Make sure you are getting a good CG.
