LemonRX are offering a range of receivers that include a light weight 6 channel receiver, a 6 channel receiver with UART and PPM out and an 8 channel receiver with selectable failsafe and UART.
The reaction to their receivers on RCGroups has generally been positive.
The older 8 channel design is shown in this picture.
Below is a picture of the new 10 channel receiver. As you can see it is physically built using the same layout as the 8 channel receiver. At 6 grams it is the lightest 10 channel receiver I know of.
The white contact is for a Spektrum DSM2 satellite receiver. LemonRX has one for sale, but as I understand things you can also use original Spektrum satellites..
The receiver is pretty much as small as a 10 channel receiver with standard servo connectors can be. Here it is next to the tiny LemonRX Feather Light 6 channel receiver.
A nice feature is how the failsafe is implemented. It can be turned on and off and it is possible to see when it is engaged. I wish all manufacturers had made their failsafes as easy to use. The receiver has a micro button for setting failsafe. With the receiver turned on and all channels at the required setting, the bind plug is inserted and the micro button is pressed. A green LED lights up. From this point on all channels will output their failsafe settings when the transmitter signal is lost. Repeating the procedure turns off the failsafe and the green LED. If the transmitter signal is lost in this mode, the receiver will output no signal at all. Depending on your application either might be the right choice.
The micro button can be seen at the lower right corner of the RX.
I put the receiver to the test in the following video reveiew. Both by bench testing it and by using it for practical flying.
