The final 2nd generaton FT Pun Jet! Changes included angled in vertical stabilizers, closer center thrust line, slimmer canopy and a host of other minor changes.

Even with a Mobius and streamers, the FT Pun Jet performs fairly well with the added weight and drag.

Here are two first generation designs.

Alex's extreme multirotor skills caught up to this one for an extreme closeup!

Tree!

A rear shot of the rocket assisted Punjet being loaded up! You can even see a little bit of the ignitor setup from this angle.

For the first launch we used a C-6 motor.

Loaded up for its sketchy rocket flight!

Hello!

Goodbye!

Desending into madness. Moments later the radio disconnected and the plane plummeted in!

That'll buff out....

Round 2. FLIGHT!

Not much wiggle room.

Successful ignition!

Once we knew that it worked, to no ones surprise, we had to go bigger! Next up with the C-11 rocket motor.

Such thrust... very fire... how rocket.... Wow...

Almost a successfull boost. The strength of the motor was a little too much for the FT Pun Jet. It re-folded the wings in a spectacular spiral of spinning s-nonsense.

Formation flying is always PUN!!!!

You asked for it and now it can be yours! We will be releasing free build plans with the build video on Wednesday, or you can get your Speed Build Kit from the store right now!

We love to hear your feed back and what you want to see from us. It's what helps keep us going. Make sure to post your build and mods in the forums!

Really fun looking little plane. Looks like a lot of fun. Really like some of the new music you put in this video as well. Seemed to work really good with this subject matter. 5 stars!

There was something sketchy about that oil well at the Northwest corner of the field last summer. I saw several people lose their signal when near it. Wonder if it has a 2.4 GHz link to something.

Has anyone thought about what size EDF would work with this pint-sized pun jet?

You guys are repeating history. ;-)

What you've got there is essentially the FT Goblin... I used to work for McDonnell Douglas, so I have a soft spot in my heart for this little guy:

I have had the same thing happen using my Orange tx with the Sport Cub S and with my UMX Spacewalker. I've found that when my transmitter battery is fully charged I don't have any more blackouts!!! Not sure if what the FT guys were experiencing was the same thing? I have also noticed that the blackouts with my UMX Spacewalker are much shorter (1.5 - 2 seconds) than the ones on my cub (5+ seconds.) I think the reason for this is the cub has as3x and the UMX Spacewalker doesn't! Hope this sheds a little light on the matter and proves helpful!! :)

All I have is the turnigy 2200 mAh battery, but I was wondering if I could still use that for all the swappables. Not including the minis

I think you guys should think about releasing the build plans on the Monday show when you release new planes so that the scratch builders can get them printed and their pieces cut out so by Wednesday when you release the build video we would be ready to start building. I know you guys are being very generous by providing free plans at all and I really appreciate it, please don't take this as a complaint, just an idea..Thanks!

I've printed plans and hope to build one out of depron.(Peter's favorite).

I built the depron one and it was horrible, easily one of the worst planes I've ever built. It flew horribly. It was unstable, and crashed immediately even with proper balance, motor, servos, etc. In conclusion, build a swing wing one and drop it from the guinea.

Nvm, looks like mine didn't. Anyway, I wish to build this for my first successful build. My attempt to build a mini Speedwing has been as yet unsuccessful. May come back to it when I know a little more about building

Does this plane fall under the minimum weight for required registration? Looks to me like it does. Also, why are the comments getting strikethroughs?
