This is an example of the learning the hard way. My 2200mha 3s was velcroed to the swappable powerpod, That's right, only velcroed. I had a bad feeling about it (I must start trusting those feelings), but, I've never had good quality Velcro come loose, until now. From watching the video I figure I was right over the pump station building when I pulled up hard from a spinning dive, and the lipo continued to dive...As you can see, having the plane land, on my runway, on its wheels, DEAD!, with gopro running:) is a very lucky thing to happen
Firstly, I'd never want to litter anything! (especially something so volatile). However, I have searched high and low for this thing (it was $20+ shipping) and got nothing, I returned 3 times and looked in new areas, about and hour each time after the first day. No battery to be found...

This is how I secure my batteries now, but with a lot more rubber bands when flying.
My powerpod: Turnigy D2826-10 1400kv motor, 30 amp plush esc, 8x4 prop, and the orange RX (it's the same one I now use in my baby blender) Thank you flitetest for making this hobby so cheap to do. I naturally use the same securing technique for this plane too. This is a photo from a different day capturing the area, From the video it seems like it should be somewhere around that fenced in building. I looked on the roof, all around the walls, and in every bush around it... I really hope it didn't end up in the water.
