This is the E-Flite Vapor. It's an absolutely tiny, ultra lightweight RC flyer capable of flying around your living room. Alex and Josh got to grips with it here in the video review.
So, what can you expect when you open the box of your own Vapor model?
Well, the aircraft is made from a composite of carbon fibre and covering film which makes for a very lightweight aircraft. As Josh mentioned in the video, these materials also allow the plane to flex and bend to take a crash without breaking.
In regards to the motor, this airplane (being a small ultra-micro) has a brushed motor similar to what you'd find on a micro quad. The motor uses a gearbox that helps swing the prop. The high power to weight ratio means that you can not only hover the Vapor, but pull out of a high alpha with ease.

The Vapor is a great option for you if the location that you fly at during the winter is a gymnasium or large open space like a community hall. Even outdoors, albeit with absolutely zero wind, the Vapor excels as a slow flying, manoeuvrable RC aircraft.
How to High-Alpha
So, I hear some of you saying, what is a high-alpha? It's very simple. When a plane is travelling through the air, it's wing works by having a certain angle of attack relative to the airflow. The lower air pressure on the top surface of the wing effectively sucks the aircraft upwards. When you have an aggressive angle of attack, almost using the air below as a cushion, it is called a high alpha.
You'll see lots of jets doing this to slow down, especially upon landing. All you have to do is pull back while applying power to raise the nose of the plane.
With the Vapor, it's exactly the same as the jet. You'll find using the high alpha to manoeuvre around tight spaces indoors to be a valuable tool in your metaphorical pilot toolbox.
