My problem is more of a wanting to pick up the pieces when I do crash then to do a accident reconstruction.. I always seem to loose a motor cap or a washer or something.. where if I had left things alone and look at where it landed and how, I likely could have found the pieces.

This is really great! I like those plastic boxes - you can organize stuff really well! I have two of them, one for parts, and another for batteries. But I will soon need more!

My solution to battery connectors is standardizing connectors on ESC with bullet connectors. Then i make different adapters like bullet-to-XT60, bullet-to-dean etc. That way if you don't have to make adapters for every possible ESC-battery connector configurations.

I even cut off the connectors on battery side and solder bananas on.
4 mm for bigger batteries and 2 mm for smaller ones.
