Chateau De L'Islette near to Azay-le-Rideau in the Loire Valley.

I am grateful to the owners of the chateau for allowing me to film. This beautiful Chateau and idyllic grounds are open during the summer months, further information is here.

Filmed with my 500 size quadcopter with brushless gimbal. Further details on my equipment can be found in this video

I have linked two articles which give details of the design and an overview of the quadcopter that shot this video. Regarding safety, this is at the forefront of every flight I make, in this case I had permission to fly and film from the owner, the flying was completed early in the morning before the chateau was open to the public. The quadcopter is designed and built to be as reliable as possible, there is a third article linked which is a good starting point when considering the reliability of any multi-rotor. There are other procedures I use which also minimise the risk, but there is not enough space to go into detail here, but the most important factor is experience and understanding what could go wrong so that you can ensure that you can minimise the risk.

Hello and thanks for your comments on the video. The gimbal is my own design using a cheap controller board and motors; it works really well and unlike other designs it protects the front face and lens of the GoPro. You can see it briefly in my "Tune your Multi-rotor Part 2" video which is linked above. Watch the video from 11.20. If you want any further details just ask.
