by brianm311 | September 1, 2013 | (9) Posted in Projects

 this is my XP-7

side view getting graphics put on

finished plane lookin sweet!

so heres the build i used the blender prints for the body

as you can see its a little bigger the body is 37in with the rudder

looking down the formers

the body is 3 3/4 at the leading edge of the wing

looking down at the battery compartment

used front compartment for the battery allowing for movement back an forth for cg

added some support inside to make less floppy where the wing mounts

body covered in construction paper

for the wing i used the cruzer prints it is 9 1/2 inches wide same folds as cruzer though

wing is 46inches long and goes from 91/2 to 7inches at the tip

at the tip it is 7inches

i brought the top all the way out flush with the bottom

at aileron i added one strip inside to keep it the same as the wing

ready for graphics

I would love to have the plans. You did a really great job on this plane. I like the hatch for the battery. That way you don't see it.

Nice plane I like the easy access to the battery and over all look ,now we need a manner in which to form a cowling . Ft's landing gear (b.blender ) is easy and durable.

Pretty nice, when I saw it on the home page I thought it was some production model plane. Very nice design.
