I'm surprised you didn't try to take off from the ground. Your landing gear looked pretty good

As WizzyWiggs says, try a ground takeoff. Much easier, as things happen slower. Don't give up, it flies really well when trimmed.

Take off from ground is easier, at least let you be more confident! You should try the Oldfogey it's easier to fly. But if you realy want to stay in the acrobatic way you should try the FT3D! As I saw it is pretty crash resistant ;) don't give up, I want to see this baby blender fly !

Nice build.make sure you have the cg correct , it looked like a flyer.Glue it up and have at it again...my trainer, i tore the firewall off 3 times and the guy teaching me said epoxy it back on and see you tomorrow..I always have one on the table just for mishaps.
