Baby Blender build V2

I am fourteen years old and I decided to do a second scratch build. I originally built the delta wing a few months ago and decided to build another one. Originally I built the ft 3d with the Suppo 1450kv 370 equivalent motor and an 8 x 4 prop and was extremely underpowered. I ended up building two planes each time making it about 3oz lighter and still had no luck. So when the baby blender v2 came out, I immediately jumped on it. I had crashed a PZ Spitfire about 4 months ago and never got around to replacing the airframe. So I had a 15 sized 950kv motor with a 9.5x7.5 prop. If this motor didn't make it fly I didn’t know what would. Yesterday I had the maiden and it flew amazing! It obviously had a great climb rate and flew like it was on rails. I plan in the future to buy a Suppo 450 motor so I can use the 15bl in my new Spitfire Airframe. Anyways I did change a few things on the plane. The first thing I did was put a pilot in there. Thought it just made the plane look even cooler.

Another view from the rear.

Secondly, I put on a different tail wheel. The only wire I had was close hangar wire to the landing gear and this was just too flimsy. The plane would wobble side to side so I came up with a new tail wheel. I put two wheels from an ultra-micro on a BBQ skewer like above. This prevents the plane from rocking side to side and also helps the plane to track nice and straight. The plane always stays nice and level on the ground now.

Just another view at the pilot.

I hope you guys like the plane and thanks to Flite Test for the amazing design. I only started in this hobby a year ago!

I just turned 15. Did you build the bb from scratch? Looks much better than the scratch build I did. Into the hobby for 1.5 years, too.

I built this from scratch. Take a look at the plans, you can lay it over the foam board and cut it out. This makes it easy to get perfect cuts and everything lines up as it should. It also helps to make the build look very clean. And good luck in the hobby!

After you have placed all the plans onto the foamboard and lined up neatly poke holes into it where lines intersect and pretty much do dot-to-dot to match them all up.

I am fourteen too. Whats that behind the prop?
I love this hobby I fly funjets off 5cell and I like doing formation flying down at the fields with my pz mustang
I just got my first action cam but it hasn't arrived yet I hope to put that on my tricopter. I am heavily into stunt flying I am upgrading soon to a balsa model as I haven't had a crash in 2 1/2 years.....

Actually is is a parkzone 15BL 950 kv with a 9.5 x7.5 prop. It is from a recently downed Spitfire and the only motor big enough I had laying around to fly the plane. It is a bit over kill though. Needless to say I now have a baby blender that has unlimited vertical!

I've just started 3d about three months ago and only been flying for 1.5 years! The Spitfire crashed due to bad weather. The winds were 10mph bust the gusts were 35mph. I caught a gust while landing

Very nice ,remember any weight in the tail is your enemy.Per Dave "nose heavy flies poorly, tail heavy flies once".
