Art tech wing dragon 500 -REVIEW

This is the art tech wing dragon 500, what sets it apart from most models is probably its plastic fulsalauge but dont thing just because its made of thin plastic its gonna break easily. After many crashes (many of which are full thottle and strait into the ground)the plastic hasnt broken, its amazing how durable this thing is. The only thing that has broken is the stearable nose wheel because part of the servo arm came off (thats why theres tape around the nose wheel in the pictures). With a 1100KV brushless outrunner and a 3s battery power is not an issue I havent clocked it yet but I'd say your getting speeds between 20 and 35 mph at full throttle which is not bad at all. The glide rate is also quite good and it is very wind resistant BUT this is no slope soarer. The only bad things I noticed were that the tail wasnt very strait (this didnt seem to effect the flight preformance at all) and that the instruction manuel were kind of hard to understand. Overall id recommend this to anyone who has some 4ch flying experienceid say this would make a good 2nd or 3rd plane for begginers.

specs:

wingspan: 1400mm

length: 1070mm

weight: 1060g

flight time: around 5-15 minutes depending on how you choose to fly

battery: 3s 1300mAh lipo

esc: 20A brushless

motor: C3128-1100kv brushless out-runner

fact: This plane has a trust to weight ratio of 0.9!

Tip: put rubber bands around the cannopy like you see in the pictures because the canopy is not held on very well.

Final thoughts:

A great 2nd or 3rd plane is very funt to fly and iseasy to assemble. it doesnt matter if your a beginner or advanced I belive anyone can have fun with this model. It requires very little modifications out of the box and is a great RTF!

I was always speculating to get the Wing Dragon as my 2nd plane, but my dad and uncle said that it wasn't the right trainer plane for me!

it all depends on how you fly if you have a decent amount experience with 4ch models you'll be fine as long as you have a big area you should be fine, and stay tuned for the flight video that should be up later this week!
