This is my XF-108 Rapier, designed using Google Sketchup, Made from Dollar Tree foamboard. Powered by a Grayson Hobby Super MegaJet, a 40amp ESC also from Grayson, 7 amp BEC, 2200 30c lipo, and 2 9-gram metal gear servos.

HEY awesome build man! Looks very locked in. I am curious though, I have designed a few planes with google sketchup but always get frustrated exploding individual components for measurements. Any tricks to it or are you just eyeballing it using sketchup as a reference? Would love to figure out how to take a 3d design, break it out to 2d and print off plans.

Hey, thanks! I don't use the components very often, I separate everything into groups as I'm designing, then when the 3-d model is done, I rotate all of the pieces onto the same axis, so that when viewed from the top view they are all flattened out. Then export as a jpeg.... Send me a P.M.bif you have any questions...
